Walking Liberty Half Dollar

The obverse side of the coin features Lady Liberty striding toward the left, with the American flag draped around her shoulders. She carries branches of laurel and oak in her left hand, symbolizing civil and military glory. The sun is rising in the background, representing a new day of freedom.

On the reverse side of the coin is an eagle perched on a rock, with its wings spread wide. It is depicted with its head turned toward the left, facing the olive branches in its talons. The reverse also displays the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "HALF DOLLAR."

The Walking Liberty Half Dollar was minted in 90% silver and 10% copper composition, giving it a distinctive silver color. The coin has a diameter of 30.6 mm and a weight of 12.5 grams.

The mintmarks for different mints where the coins were produced (Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco) can be found on the reverse side of the coin, above the word "HALF."
